Welcome
to the Painting Gallery!
"I
don’t see color the way everyone else sees color. My husband will
comment on my brown sweater; I see it as purple. We jokingly argue about
a pair of pants, are they grey or brown? Everyone always takes his side
in the arguments. They always see color the way he does. I wonder if I
have a disorder? I wonder if my paintings look completely different to
me than they do to everyone else because of this? My husband thinks I
see the underlying pigments more than the final product. It might be true.
I do the same thing with people, I think, which is another problem altogether.
I look at people, and most of the time it’s as if I can see right
through them to their core. Maybe that’s why I don’t go out
much..."

on a flatbed scanner circa 1989 (which has now passed to another plane
of existence); more recent paintings will be captured with a digital camera.
